Job summary

Galloway & Company is seeking a Survey Party Chief to lead field crews in boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS work, topographic data collection, and construction staking. You will operate total stations and GPS/GNSS gear, including Trimble hardware and software such as TSC3, Access, and TBC.

You’ll interpret plans, deeds, and legal descriptions to collect data, stake from alignments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of field experience in land surveying.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred; not required.
• PLS preferred; not required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic data collection, and construction staking.
• Interpret plans, deeds, and legal descriptions to collect data.
• Stake accurately from alignments using templates and construction plans; manage safety and timelines.
• Represent Galloway in client relations and drive new business development.
• Travel across the region and mentor crew members.
