Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Party Chief to lead survey crews in the field, ensuring accurate data collection for construction projects. The role requires supervision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety protocols while interpreting plans and coordinating with project teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of land surveying experience and proficiency with Trimble, Leica, and Topcon equipment, plus the ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise survey crews in field operations.
• Interpret and implement engineering plans, drawings, and specs.
• Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors).
• Ensure safety and quality per company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey crews, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training.
• Operate and maintain survey instruments and software.
• Perform land surveys (topographic, boundary, construction staking, as-built).
• Process data, prepare field notes and sketches.
• Communicate progress and issues to project managers and clients.
• Maintain organization of field notes and equipment logs.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of instruments.
