Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in land surveying and/or construction layout, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience reading Electrical, Structural and Civil plans is a plus.
  • AutoCAD and Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Trimble equipment experience is required.
  • Proficiency with GPS units, total stations, levels, and data collectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a field survey crew in conducting topographic, construction staking, and other land surveys.
  • Set up and operate GPS equipment, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, including measurements, angles, and elevations.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and schedules for the survey crew to meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit detailed survey reports, including sketches, maps, and digital data files.
