Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor in surveying/geomatics is a plus.
• 3–5 years in land surveying or construction layout; 1–2 years in leadership.
• Experience reading plans (Electrical, Structural, Civil) is a plus.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Trimble equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field survey crews for topographic, construction staking, and related surveys.
• Set up and operate GPS, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments.
• Ensure accurate data collection: measurements, angles, elevations, and notes.
• Prepare sketches, field notes, and detailed survey reports.
• Coordinate daily tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Interpret survey data and provide recommendations for design and construction.
• Maintain equipment calibration and report any issues or needs for replacement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company safety standards.
