Qualifications

• 3–5 years of land surveying experience with at least 1–2 years in leadership.
• Electrical/structural/civil plan reading experience is a plus.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Trimble equipment experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, construction staking, ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a field survey crew in conducting topographic, construction staking, and other surveys.
• Set up and operate GPS equipment, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments.
• Ensure accurate data collection, including measurements, angles, and elevations.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, sketches, maps, and digital data files.
• Coordinate daily tasks and schedules for the survey crew to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, engineers, and stakeholders about requirements and progress.
• Interpret survey data and provide recommendations for project design and construction.
