You will set up GPS units, total stations, levels, and Trimble gear, coordinate schedules, and report findings to project managers, engineers, and clients, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years in land surveying/construction layout; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/structural/civil plans is a plus.
• Trimble equipment experience is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are advantages.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a field survey crew for topographic and construction staking.
• Set up and operate GPS equipment, total stations, levels, and surveying instruments.
• Ensure accurate data collection, including measurements, angles, and elevations.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, including sketches and maps.
• Coordinate daily tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders.
• Interpret survey data and provide design recommendations.
• Maintain tool calibration and report equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Keep organized records of survey activities and findings.
