Two years in a survey corps plus an associate's degree in surveying, drafting, design, civil or engineering technology.

Responsibilities

Oversee field measurements and electronic data downloads for survey activities
Guide staff in using both manual and electronic surveying instruments and related tools
Prepare daily and weekly work plans to support efficient field operations
Examine field records for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting for design systems
Ensure work zones follow safety rules and protect employees, equipment, and the public
Provide training, coaching, and evaluation of survey team members
