Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Survey Technician or four years in a survey corps with standard and electronic surveying duties.
• Two years in a survey corps with standard and electronic surveying duties plus an associate's degree in surveying, drafting, design, civil or engineering technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field measurements and electronic data downloads for survey activities.
• Guide staff in using manual and electronic surveying instruments.
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans to support field operations.
• Examine field records for accuracy and proper formatting for design systems.
• Ensure work zones follow safety rules and protect employees and equipment.
• Provide training, coaching, and evaluation of survey team members.
