Job summary

GCW, Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Party Chief / Field Survey Supervisor to organize and lead field crews on multiple projects, with a strong focus on construction staking and ALTA topographic and boundary surveys.

You will collect, compute, and record field data, interpret plans, operate survey instruments, maintain equipment, and support engineers with as-built information and site conditions. 5+ years survey experience and LSIT pref are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AS/BS preferred.
• Minimum 5 years survey experience; 3+ years as Party Chief.
• LSIT certification preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a survey crew and operations.
• Verify mathematical calculations for surveys.
• Conduct project research, secure equipment, and record data.
• Perform construction staking per project plans.
• Operate survey instruments and maintain equipment.
• Assist engineers with as-built information and site conditions.
