Job summary

Commercial Lightning Protection LLC is seeking a Commercial Lightning Supervisor to lead field operations and installations of lightning protection and grounding systems in the Richmond, VA area. The role includes directing daily field activities, mentoring crew members, and ensuring safety and project timelines are met.

We expect a minimum of 2 years in commercial installation, knowledge of UL96A/NFPA780, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of related commercial installation or field operations experience.
Hands-on experience with commercial lightning protection installation.
Knowledge of UL96A and NFPA780 standards.
Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead and organize daily jobsite installation activities to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Supervise, train, and develop field installers to build their technical skills and advance within the organization.
Execute system installations and conduct ground resistance testing according to project specifications and UL96A/NFPA780 standards.
Perform site walkthroughs and maintain clear, professional communication with site contacts, project managers, and area managers.
Enforce strict safety protocols, safety checks, and proper equipment usage across all assigned jobsite operations.
Generate and submit daily progress reports, work orders, photos, and accurate as-built drawings prior to project closeouts.
