Job summary

BHS Construction, Inc. in Manhattan, KS, seeks a Project Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on assigned projects, train staff, plan work, and ensure safety and quality.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, ability to read plans, and effective communication with owners, architects, inspectors, and crews.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) years construction experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on assigned projects.
• Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
• Review safety regulations and ensure site compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain site tools and equipment and ensure proper inspections.
