Job summary

BHS Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee daily field operations, supervise 1–20 hourly employees, and coordinate with the Project Manager and Owner’s team. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, safety, and field reporting on active projects.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction with supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 30-hour certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years construction experience with supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Completed and passed, at minimum, the OSHA 30-hour training course.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse range of people.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations on assigned projects.
• Train employees and direct work; appraise performance.
• Review value engineering ideas for ongoing work.
• Coordinate with project manager, estimator and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety compliance and enforce safety regulations.
• Prepare field reports and manage lesson learned.
• Schedule inspections and coordinate with inspectors and authorities.
• Manage on-site issues and project walk-throughs with owner/architect/engineer.
