Job summary

BHS Construction, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to manage projects across Kansas and other locations. You will lead field operations, ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with owners, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors.

The role requires extensive travel, flexible hours, and a strong leadership presence. A valid driver's license, OSHA 30, and 5 years of commercial construction experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of commercial construction experience with previous supervisory experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned projects across Kansas with travel as needed.
• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and field personnel.
• Lead project scheduling, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
• Coordinate startup, mobilization, and demobilization for projects.
• Manage closeout activities including punch lists and turnover documentation.
