Job summary

HarperGC is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on a Roanoke, VA project. You will serve as the primary on-site contact, oversee scheduling, logistics, and safety, and coordinate with owners, architects, and trade partners to keep the project on track and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive problem solving, and a deep understanding of QA/QC processes. Procore expertise is a plus, with a focus on field oversight and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams on construction projects.
• Strong scheduling and logistics coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety programs (SOAR).
• Ability to communicate with Owner/Architect/Engineer on site issues.
• Proficiency with Procore and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main on-site contact for the project.
• Oversee project decisions, scheduling, delivery, and logistics.
• Lead safety planning and OSH/A safety compliance.
• Coordinate with trade partners and QA/QC efforts.
• Prepare and manage daily reports, timesheets, and punch lists.
• Develop recovery strategies to maintain the project schedule.
