Job summary

Ebara Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites. This hands-on role suits experienced field service professionals and technically skilled technicians transitioning to the high‑tech semiconductor industry.

Under minimal supervision, you will service equipment, interpret manuals, document preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Experience in semiconductor/automotive or related industry preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics/diagrams.
• Operate in a cross‑cultural, demanding environment.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment at customer sites or service center incl. PM, unscheduled maintenance, installations, and startups.
• Interpret operation manuals to determine root causes of tool failures.
• Document preventive maintenance, downtime, issues, and time spent; report for product movement.
