Job summary

Ebara Technologies Incorporated seeks an experienced field service technician to perform on-site service, repair, and installation of company products. You will diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures, provide technical support, and mentor junior technicians at customer sites or service centers.

Candidate should have 4–10 years in the semiconductor industry, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–10 years in semiconductor industry
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
• Strong customer relations and communication skills
• Ability to lift 35 lbs unassisted
• Willingness to work in cross-cultural environments
• Proficiency with MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Service customer equipment at sites or service center, including preventative maintenance and installations
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures using checklists and protocols
• Provide technical support on operational maintenance of systems
• Mentor and train field service associates at levels I–III
• Assist in operations of the service center and provide on-site support as needed
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and comply with safety policies
