Job summary

POWERX Edge is seeking a Commissioning Engineer II to lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical equipment across data-center projects. You will participate in training, coordinate with project teams, and ensure quality and timeliness in commissioning work.

The role may involve leading projects and collaborating with clients, vendors, and engineers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commissioning, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of hands-on commissioning experience in data centers, including one year as lead commissioning engineer.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the commissioning of electrical/mechanical equipment and systems, including power distribution, control, and backup power systems.
Coordinate and execute onsite electrical/mechanical commissioning work.
Review drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and test results.
Ensure safety compliance and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
