Job summary

Honeywell INC. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair of complex equipment with minimal supervision. You will train customers, support sales teams with quotes, and help manage key account service contracts in the greater Chicago area.

The role requires 3+ years of field service with fire alarm or security systems, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a valid driver’s license. A NICET or related cert is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/ GED.
3+ years of field service experience with commercial fire alarm systems and/or security systems (card access and cameras).
3+ years of experience reading & interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Perform repair work on demand
Provide internal and external customer support
Adhere to administrative processes
Ability to work non-standard hours.
Ability to service clientele in the greater Chicago area.
