Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Delaware invites an experienced Service Manager to lead a small team of three service technicians across the United States. You will plan field visits, manage workshop activities, and oversee equipment maintenance and rental returns, ensuring accurate documentation and profitable operation.

The role suits someone with a strong mechanical background in heavy construction equipment or industrial machinery, excellent leadership and scheduling skills, and familiarity with ERP

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a service team or supervisor role in heavy equipment setting.
• Strong technical background in heavy construction equipment or industrial machinery.
• Experience coordinating field service technicians and workshop operations.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and how to transfer knowledge across equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three Service Technicians across the United States.
• Plan and schedule field service visits, preventative maintenance, repairs and workshop activities.
• Oversee servicing, inspection, and return of heavy equipment within the rental fleet.
• Monitor productivity, hours, overtime and billable utilisation for profitability.
