Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking a Principal Field Service Engineer to join our service team for the Quantum Cryogenic product line.

You will act as a technical expert, delivering high-quality field service, installations, and customer support across sites. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive service improvements, provide training, and develop documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a Master’s; or PhD without experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on cryogenic systems at customer sites.
• Lead installation and commissioning activities with final system acceptance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment issues via on-site visits, phone, and email.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for customer and system issues.
• Develop and improve service procedures and technical documentation.
