Job summary

Unlimited Technology seeks a Field Installation Supervisor to lead a technical team in installing, programming, terminating, and commissioning access control and video systems. You will guide technicians, review their work, and coordinate with Sales and Operations.

Excellent communication and a proactive, customer-focused approach are essential. The role reports to the Program Manager and requires travel as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority.
• Competencies with IP cameras and systems (Axis, Sony, Avigilon, Exacq).
• Experience in installing door hardware and reading engineered drawings.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage direct reports.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Mentor others and review work.
• Possess programming skills for UT product line.
• Travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Act as the project team's eyes and ears for management.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate activity to PM or Program Manager promptly.
• Assist Install team and follow site safety programs.
• Attend product or safety training as required.
• Complete performance reviews and supervise weekly/monthly duties.
• Assess strengths, abilities, and weaknesses of the team.
