Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer III to lead and perform advanced field engineering tasks on complex electronic/mechanical systems used in test and measurement environments. You will collaborate with engineers, logistics, and program managers to define specifications and ensure adherence to standards.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, documentation, and customer liaison skills. Travel to remote sites may be required, and a DoD security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or technical field plus 10 years in the specialty required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and design solutions for complex hardware/software in avionics environments.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on more complex field engineering assignments and oversee project tasks.
• Interface with customers and cross-functional teams from quotation to final design and test.
• Perform installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of electronic/mechanical systems.
