Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Avionics Field Engineer III to perform hands-on support, repair, and modification of avionics systems for DoW platforms. You will apply RF and radar principles, work with tactical communications, and operate advanced test equipment to ensure aircraft readiness.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent training, 5+ years in avionics, and familiarity with wiring standards and FAA/DoD maintenance norms. Domestic travel to remote sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or relevant military/vocational training required.
• 5 years of avionics operations experience with military aircraft preferred.
• Experience with RADAR, ECM, power distribution, and avionics software.
• Proficient with test equipment: oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, meters.

Responsibilities

• Support and repair avionics systems on DoW manned and unmanned platforms.
• Operate and troubleshoot RF, radar, and datalink subsystems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in maintenance tasks.
• Travel to remote company locations as needed.
