Job summary

JT4 is seeking a Field Engineer III to serve as a lead on complex field engineering assignments, overseeing installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic and mechanical systems. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines to define specifications and ensure compliance with procedures.

The role includes direct customer liaison, development of technical documentation and proposals, and ongoing field maintenance duties. Travel to remote locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline and 10+ years in the field.
• Broad knowledge of engineering concepts, principles and practices for complex projects.
• Strong ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions for hardware/software issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex field engineering assignments and oversee equipment installation, operation, testing, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management to define system specs and requirements.
• Prepare technical papers, proposals, and workload estimates for scope of work.
• Interface with customers from quotation through design, test activities, and reviews; provide recommendations.
