Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Houston is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC project management from pre-construction through completion and warranty. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations across multiple projects.

You will mentor staff, manage risk reviews, and coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes in a demanding, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of relevant project management experience in construction.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of one or more projects.
• Develop project plans, scheduling, estimating, cost development and critical project objectives.
• Manage client relationships and interfacing with clients for proposals and project items.
• Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
