Job summary

Stimulus Technologies is seeking a Drop Installation Manager to lead in-house drop installation crews, ensuring safe, on-time, and standards-compliant fiber deployments across assigned regions. This role focuses on field leadership, project coordination, and adherence to grant program timelines.

You will supervise daily activities, train crews on installation standards, and maintain production records while collaborating with project management, engineering, and clients to meet program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of hands-on fiber optic drop installation or OSP construction.
• 1+ year leading or supervising field crews.
• Knowledge of drop installation methods for aerial and buried applications.
• Ability to read construction drawings, splice schematics, and drop assignment maps.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 100% for project assignments.
• Proficiency with a tablet or mobile device for daily reporting and production tracking.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights; 40–60 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct daily drop installation activities for in-house construction crews across assigned project areas.
• Ensure all subscriber drop installations meet Stimulus Technologies installation standards and project specifications.
• Track installation progress against grant timelines; adjust crew assignments to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling with the VP, Engineering and Construction, Project Management, engineering firm, and client.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed drop installations.
• Manage material inventory, logistics, and staging; coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for all drop activities.
• Identify and resolve field-level issues such as access, routing, customer scheduling, and permit constraints.
• Coordinate permitting/easement issues with the Permitting Manager and engineering firm.
