Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, focusing on FedRAMP, NIST RMF, and FISMA, and to guide clients through complex security frameworks.

You will mentor team members, engage with stakeholders, and drive secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation in a fast-paced, remote environment. A degree or equivalent experience is acceptable, with eligibility for government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments by analyzing cybersecurity documentation, performing evidence collection, and conducting interviews to evaluate compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards.
• Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions, demonstrating expert understanding of security frameworks, architectures, and control requirements.
• Author clear, accurate, and original assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders through clear communication to conduct interviews, lead technical assessment discussions, and provide expert guidance.
