Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, focusing on FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF. You will drive secure cloud designs, mentor colleagues, and communicate risk and remediation strategies to clients.

The role requires strong security engineering skills, cloud security knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote delivery environment, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in security assessments or A&A activities.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Strong background in security engineering, secure architecture, and cryptography.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced security assessments for client information systems.
• Evaluate compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements.
• Mentor team members and guide secure cloud architecture decisions.
• Perform vulnerability scans and analyses using Nessus, ACAS, NMAP, and others.
• Prepare reports, attestations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings.
• Travel up to 25% for client engagements.
