Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, focusing on FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF compliance. You will guide discussions with clients, mentor team members, and advise on secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation.

You should have 3+ years in security assessments, strong knowledge of Nessus, ACAS, NIST SP 800-series, and be a US citizen eligible for clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in performing and/or participating in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization activities.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain an active SECRET Security Clearance.
• Strong technical background in security engineering, secure architecture, system and network security, authentication, cryptography, and application security.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to conduct interviews, lead assessment discussions, and provide expert guidance.
• Utilize expertise in security engineering, secure architecture, and application security.
• Conduct security assessments analyzing documentation and testing for compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using Nessus, ACAS, DISA STIGs, NMAP, and related tools.
• Identify and validate remediation actions and mitigation strategies.
• Lead technical discussions and coordinate cross-functional teams.
