Job summary

Hitachi Federal seeks a Federal Data Engineer to lead enterprise data engineering for high-profile federal clients. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines, APIs, and integration solutions while mentoring junior engineers.

The role is on client site in Washington, DC, requiring TS/SCI clearance and a strong mix of software engineering and consulting skills. You will collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and customer teams to deliver complex professional services

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field.
Minimum 8 years of enterprise software engineering or data engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
Experience leading technical implementations in enterprise environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery of complex professional services engagements from design through implementation.
