Job summary

Caz Recovery in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to serve as the primary field resource for facility operations. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance Manager on work orders, and ensure safety, compliance, and reliability across all agency facilities.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage vendor coordination, and respond to emergencies, stepping in during absences to maintain continuity of operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of building maintenance or related experience.
• Experience coordinating maintenance work and maintenance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance operations with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid New York State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technician and daily field resource for maintenance operations across all agency facilities.
• Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager with planning, scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to Maintenance Technicians and staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate scheduling and escorting of vendors and service providers; monitor contractor performance.
• Respond to facility emergencies and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• When needed, act as Facilities Maintenance Manager in his/her absence.
