Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at our Lithia Springs, GA site. You will support the assembly floor and the facility, perform preventative maintenance, operate tools, and keep areas clean and safe.

The role requires dependable, punctual individuals with good communication in English, 1–3 years leadership experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and IBM systems.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with good communication skills.
• Ability to read/write in English; bilingual preferred.
• High School education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; IBM systems experience.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the facility.
• Detect and report defective materials or conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Use hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Run motorized sweeper and train facilities maintenance staff on this equipment.
• Understand root cause analysis and implement corrective action.
