Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a maintenance technician to support the assembly floor with routine preventive maintenance and safe, clean operations on site at Lithia Springs, GA. Responsibilities include hand and power tool use, plumbing and basic electrical tasks, and forklift duties.

Qualifications

• Participate in continuous improvement events as assigned by department manager
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during the shift
• Display excellent communication, time management, organizational and prioritizing skills
• Display strong customer focus and sense of urgency
• Work flexible hours, shifts, and weekends when needed
• Work with outside contractors on building maintenance and equipment
• Follow prescribed safety guidelines
• Participate in all required training
• Work in a team environment consisting of Silver Line employees and outside contractors
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work independently and as part of a team
• Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Use plumbing knowledge and basic electrical knowledge
• Operate forklift equipment
