Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday, with possible Saturdays) at our Lithia Springs, GA site. You will support manufacturing operations, diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment, and perform both simple and complex preventative maintenance tasks.

Strong reading of blueprints and PLC troubleshooting are valued. Associates degree in a related field is preferred, with at least 3 years of maintenance

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
