Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a facilities maintenance lead for 1st shift. You will perform maintenance on the plant, lead a team, and ensure clean, safe operations on the floor.

The role requires reliability, basic leadership experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reporting defects, and implementing corrective actions while coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, detail oriented with good verbal and written communication.
• Read/write in English preferred; bilingual is a plus.
• 1–3 years leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IBM business system.
• Able to lift at least 75 lbs and perform maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and facility.
• Detect and report defective materials or conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds.
• Use hand/power tools and material handling equipment.
• Lead and train associates on equipment like motorized sweeper.
• Understand root cause analysis and implement corrective action.
