Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support Lithia Springs manufacturing on the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am). You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, perform setup changes, and help ensure uptime across production lines.

The role requires an associates degree (preferred) and at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, plus knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Must be available for standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues.
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms.
• Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA.
• Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills.
