Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Principal, Facilities Engineering to lead major facilities projects across multiple sites in the United States.

The role involves managing renovations, capital infrastructure improvements, and equipment installations to support evolving business needs. The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience, strong design and regulatory knowledge, and proven ability to collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree plus 10+ years; or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in facilitating design and execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• PM skills with contractors, vendors, and team members.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and local Building Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for major facilities projects including renovations and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, architects, engineers, and regulators.
• Oversee design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction oversight with cost control.
• Regularly report on project status, milestones, and financials to senior leadership.
• Drive value engineering and process improvements across projects.
