Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a Senior Associate, Facilities Engineer to manage construction projects, design and oversee reconfiguration of facilities, and ensure alignment with drawings, budgets and schedules.

You will use AutoCAD to develop concept and construction documents, coordinate with architecture and engineering firms, prepare cost estimates and contracts, and oversee installation to meet specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineer experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of prior related facilities engineer experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related facilities engineer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction project management and oversee reconfiguration, construction and alteration of facilities.
• Gather and review data on specifications, restrictions, schedules and feasibility.
• Develop concept and construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and drawings.
• Prepare bid sheets, statements of work and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Review design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and related expenses.
• Manage approved budgets and approve contracts and purchases.
• Oversee construction and installation to ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
