Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to lead capital projects supporting site operations. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination to deliver upgrades and infrastructure improvements on time and within safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires 5+ years of facilities project experience, ability to read blueprints, and a PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing facilities, maintenance, construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects in commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or government environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities projects from initiation through closeout, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal customers, engineering, operations, EHS, security, finance, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
• Manage construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure improvement projects for office, manufacturing, lab, or support spaces as applicable.
• Develop project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project performance to ensure milestones, budgets, and deliverables are achieved.
• Oversee contractor and vendor activities, including selection support, scheduling, performance monitoring, and compliance with site requirements.
• Ensure all project work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational disruption and project delays.
• Prepare and present project status updates, reports, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support capital planning, forecasting, and long-range facilities improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate project records, drawings, permits, contracts, and closeout documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in facilities project execution, processes, and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
