Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician II at the Main Campus to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting systems. You will act as an SME and primary project resource, supporting day‑to‑day operations and enterprise initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant repair experience or a formal Building Repair training program. Typical schedule is days with on-call coverage.

• Two years of work experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical repair or HVAC OR completion of a formal Building Repair training program.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, structures and systems throughout the facility.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and main resource for related questions and concerns.
• Act as a go-to contact within projects across the enterprise and communicate/ uphold policies.

• Document and maintain records of inspections and work per policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
• Assist coworkers with maintenance-related questions in SME capacity.

As Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will perform preventive and corrective equipment, structures and system maintenance throughout the facility. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and initial resource for related questions and concerns while assisting the department with fulfilling essential day-to-day operations.

A caregiver in this position works days + on-call, 7:30am—4:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Serve as a go-to contact within certain projects across the enterprise.
• Ensure policies and procedures are communicated and upheld by staff.
• Monitor department activities and provide coaching and feedback to team members when appropriate.
• Perform routine electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting maintenance repair work.
• Perform utility and structural repairs alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons as needed.
• Document and maintain records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
• Assist co-workers with maintenance-related questions, comments and concerns in a Subject Matter Expert capacity.
• Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years of work experience in general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical repair or HVAC OR completion of a formal training program in Building Repair that includes general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, maintenance repair or HVAC

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $25.13

Maximum hourly: $38.33
