Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is looking for a Chief Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities across client facilities in the United States. The CME will supervise staff, schedule work orders, and ensure compliant, high-quality workmanship.

The role requires strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance systems, blueprints, and a broad trades background. Candidates should have at least 5 years of maintenance experience and be prepared for after-hours responses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of skilled maintenance/commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews job requests and work orders daily to determine workload priorities.
• Assigns work to staff and monitors progress towards completion.
• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, gas, life safety, and other systems for operations.
• Performs routine facility inspections for safety and operational compliance.
• Maintains records and documentation for maintenance activities and personnel.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies as required to meet contract requirements.
