Silfab Solar is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support plant infrastructure, utilities, and chemical systems while driving process improvements and safety initiatives. The role emphasizes project management, adherence to structural codes, and optimization of facility operations.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering with 7+ years in facilities, experience with hazardous chemicals, and familiarity with HVAC, fire suppression, and CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with hazardous chemicals or chemical systems.
• Experience in chemical, solar, paper, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of structural code requirements.
• Experience with HVAC and fire suppression systems.

Responsabilités

• Support and improve chemical handling systems and infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate chemical and process-related risks.
• Gather data, blueprints, and reports; determine facility and equipment specifications.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules and activities; oversee contractors.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and compliance documentation.
