Job summary

The EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) Lead Fabricator role focuses on hands-on fabrication and welding in a precast facility. You will support daily production and act as a technical resource for Fabricators and Helpers under the Plant Manager’s guidance.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to drawings and specs, and collaboration with the Project Manager to meet schedule milestones while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 4+ years fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing or precast environment.
• Proficient in MIG welding; certifications are a plus.
• Experience reading shop drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with oxy‑acetylene cutting torch and standard fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fabrication, welding, and modification of forms and components used in precast concrete production.
• Assign and coordinate daily work for Fabricators and Helpers based on direction from the Plant Manager.
• Review shop drawings and blueprints to ensure clarity and accuracy prior to fabrication.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Partner with the Project Manager to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Communicate production status, delays, or issues to the Plant Manager in a timely manner.
