Job summary

CIRCOR Pumps North America in Monroe is seeking a seasoned Supervisor to lead the fabrication team, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will oversee welding operations, manage tool and material flow, and collaborate with engineering to review fabrication drawings and develop machine programs.

Required include 5+ years in welding, a CWI or ability to obtain, and proficiency in AutoCAD, with a track record in Lean improvements and team leadership at a manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in the welding industry.
• Current welding certification in an area of expertise preferred
• Familiarity with Lean tools and driving continuous improvement
• Ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate reports, forecasts, and communicate results across shifts.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, Plasma cutting, welding, fabrication, team leadership, driving metric based performance, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication team and distribute tasks to qualified welders.
• Maintain inventory and material lists; track welding records and electrodes.
• Review and approve new fabrication drawings; define and generate programs for burning machines.
• Monitor production plans and enforce quality standards; communicate goals and evaluate results.
• Lead safety initiatives and foster a behavioral-based safety culture; ensure a safe and secure work environment.
• Prepare reports and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
