Job summary

GEICO seeks a Principal Product Manager to own experimentation and digital analytics platforms in a hybrid Bethesda, MD role. You will guide platform strategy, adoption, and governance to enable data-driven decisions across teams.

You will partner with data science, engineering, and analytics leaders to scale measurement and drive high-quality insights, balancing speed with statistical rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, CS, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in product management with platform/data/analytics ownership.
• Experience building/leading experimentation programs at scale.
• Strong analytics and statistical foundations including experimental design.
• Proven success driving adoption of self-service tools.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and making causal decisions.
• Leadership to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication of complex stats to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Agile and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for experimentation platforms.
• Drive adoption of experimentation and analytics tools across teams.
• Enable self-service and automation for design, instrumentation, analysis, and reporting.
• Define governance for experimentation: metrics, guardrails, and peer review.
• Partner with data science and engineering to scale measurement pipelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams through concept, launch, and deployment.
• Identify friction points via user research and prioritize high-impact improvements.
• Set north-star metrics and KPI trees for platform health and impact.
• Deliver requirements, manage backlog, and ensure high-quality releases.
