Job summary

MATTE Projects is seeking an Executive Producer, Experiential Production to own end-to-end production of immersive work. You will lead creative execution, operations, and financial discipline across projects while mentoring the Experiential Production team.

The role blends creative stewardship with strategic leadership, delivering high-profile experiences, safeguarding budgets, and scaling capabilities. Based in NYC with travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experiential production experience with senior leadership.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-profile experiential projects.
• Deep understanding of live event production, fabrication, and logistics.
• Strong financial acumen with experience owning large-scale budgets and margins.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Calm, decisive presence under pressure with strong problem-solving instincts.
• NYC-based with flexibility for travel and on-site production work.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of experiential productions: concept through execution, installation and strike.
• Oversee large-scale live events, immersive environments, installations, pop-ups, and cultural activations.
• Ensure creative intent is preserved while delivering work that is operationally sound, safe, and scalable.
• Act as the senior production voice in creative development, identifying feasibility, risk, and opportunity early.
• Serve as a senior client-facing leader, building trust through expertise, transparency and executional excellence.
• Lead high-level client conversations around budgets, timelines, production approach, and risk mitigation.
