Qualifications

• Three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
• Heavy physical activity and outdoor work in varied weather.
• Texas Driver's License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine and make necessary adjustments.
• Comply with all safety policies and report unsafe activities to supervisor.
