Q Center in Illinois is seeking a Full Time Event Setup & Technology Supervisor to oversee the set-up, refresh, tear-down and maintenance of all meeting spaces and to assign duties to team members in an accurate and timely manner.

The schedule varies, including days, afternoons and evenings throughout the week and weekend, and you will manage AV systems, safety procedures and guest service to ensure top‑notch events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Previous Conference Services experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members, direct and coordinate set-up, refresh, tear-down and maintenance of all meeting space.
• Assign duties to be done in an accurate and timely manner.
• Oversee the setup of the audio/visual systems and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction across all spaces and activities.
• Coordinate with other departments and monitor daily operations of the department.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Previous Conference Services experience required.
