The University of Denver Facilities Management department seeks a skilled labor specialist to support events and conversions in an assembly facility environment. You will lead teams, manage detailed production schedules, and perform equipment setup and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and related equipment, moving heavy office furniture, and assisting with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of lead conversion/changeover experience in stagehand, theater, or assembly facility work.
• Must be able to obtain a Certified Forklift Operators license within six months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks for event production and conversions.
• Lead and direct less skilled workers to complete tasks.
• Manage production schedule details under tight deadlines.
• Operate forklifts, high lifts, air sleds, and ram paks.
• Move office furniture and equipment as needed.
• Assist with general maintenance including carpentry, electrical work, painting, and snow removal.
