Job summary

KC Current is seeking an events coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of events across CPKC Stadium, Current Landing, and the Kansas City Current Sports Complex. You will serve as lead event manager for assigned events and support day-of operations, ensuring smooth execution and staff readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating internal requests, vendor visits, and cross‑department collaboration with Security, Parking, and Ticketing, while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in event operations, venue operations, hospitality, or event coordination.
• Experience supporting the planning or execution of live events in a venue, hospitality, sports, or entertainment environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing event needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of events across KC Current venues.
• Lead event manager for assigned events or serve as day-of manager as needed.
• Coordinate intake for front office event requests and venue access.
• Support calendar management and scheduling across departments.
• Coordinate with Security, Guest Services, Parking, Ticketing, Stadium Operations, and Food & Beverage.
• Maintain event documentation, run-of-show timelines, and internal briefings.
• Develop and maintain event maps, diagrams, and guest flow plans.
